A story of passion

At the age of 17, Cédric Vaslin began an apprenticeship with Christian Decombas, a leading specialist in the sale and restoration of classic cars in the Auvergne region.

As always, he starts by sweeping up the garage, before being entrusted with bodywork and mechanical work. Delahaye, Facel Véga, Bugatti, Jaguar and Ferrari pass through young Cédric's hands.

Several months later, he was able to judge a restoration job, and by listening to his fathers, he quickly learned all the tricks of the trade. "It's a lot easier when you're passionate about it", he says, and once his technical knowledge had been validated, in agreement with his boss, he decided to move into sales.

For over 10 years, he worked as a salesman for specialists in classic and high-end vehicles, and as he approached 35, he decided to strike out on his own:

He created "COLLECTION PRIVEE AUTOMOBILE" because his network and the trust placed in him by professionals and collectors had grown over the years. Most of the cars that have marked the century have passed through his hands. Ferrari, Aston, Porsche, Alpine, Maserati, Lamborghini, Jaguar.
